In this advance Asia Policy release, a team of nuclear and North Korea experts discusses Jonathan Pollack's book No Exit: North Korea, Nuclear Weapons and International Security and the argument that North Korea does not see its nuclear weapons as a "bargaining chip" but rather as a core part of the nation's identity and security. GLOBAL TIMES | Kim's Death Chance for Joint Sino-U.S. Efforts

NBR's Abraham Denmark co-authored an essay in the Global Times about how the United States and China could develop a joint vision for the future of North Korea. "Washington and Beijing today have an opportunity to work together for a new era of North Korean integration and stability, while enhancing U.S.-China cooperation and building strategic mutual trust."
